Picture this: your favorite Dayton-area food trucks coming together for a rally. But not  just any rally. All the trucks are serving TACOS


It’s taco vs. taco as two of Dayton’s Latin American cuisine giants battle it out

Well, you’re not dreaming. This Friday, Yellow Cab will host the third annual Taco Truck Takeover presented by Smokinbeebeeq, where all the trucks will serve up their best version of everyone’s favorite portable shelled food, tacos. ¡Oh si!

According to the event Facebook page, every variety and style of taco will be available from traditional to modern to downright experimental.

At 7 p.m., a “best bite” contest where the trucks will hand over one of their best-crafted tacos for judging. The winner will be announced later in the evening.

The trucks participating in the takeover include: The Wicked ‘Wich of Dayton, Hunger Paynes Food Truck, The Painted Pepper, The Drunken Waffle, Greek Street Food Truck and Smokinbeebeeq.

There will also be live music, craft beers and dessert trucks on site.
