It’s the most wonderful time of the year, so why wouldn’t you want to spend that time at The Happiest Place On Earth?
Disneyland is the perfect destination to visit for Christmas, next to the North Pole, of course. There’s so much holiday magic put into every singly detail of the decorations, the parades, the rides, and even the food. Disney has always been the place to bring families together for fun and memories, and Christmas is essentially the Disney of holidays. That’s why they go so well together, just like milk and cookies. Needless to say, these photos of Disneyland at Christmastime will give you a huge dose of holiday magic.
It’s just what the doctor ordered for anyone who’s having a blue Christmas and needs a little pick me up. Even if you can’t physically visit the parks for the holidays, you can look at these eight pictures of the holiday decorations and feel like you’re there. Disney is all about the details, and that’s why everything gets dusted with some sort of holiday sparkle. It’s absolutely the most magical place to be at the most magical time of the year, and we wouldn’t want to spend our holidays anywhere else.

2The Parades Get A Holiday Upgrade
Disney knows how to organize a parade, so for the holidays, you can’t miss the Christmas Fantasy Parade. Everyone is dressed in their holiday best.
The biggest surprise is Santa making a cameo at the end. When he makes his grand entrance, you’ll inevitably be shouting, “Santa! I know him!”
3Cars Land Is Decked Out
Cars Land never disappoints with its decorations, but Christmas is truly the best time to visit. You’ll see cars wearing hats in addition to tire-themed Christmas trees. It’s like Cars is put through a Christmas filter, and out comes this magnificent place you never thought you needed in your life.
4Giant Gingerbread Houses Are Here To Sleigh
It’s so beautiful that you don’t want to eat it, but it smells so good that you do! This massive gingerbread house in Disney’s Grand Californian at the Disneyland Resort has us all conflicted. Don’t worry though, because you can get your gingerbread fill by snagging a gingerbread cookie and hot chocolate at the cart nearby.
5It’s A Small World Is Celebrating Christmas The Right Way
The ride inside is also decked out for Christmas with all of the countries representing their holiday spirit, while singing a mashup of “Jingle Bells” and our favorite, “It’s A Small World.”
6‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’ Takes Over The Haunted Mansion
From Halloween to Christmastime, the Haunted Mansion gets a spooky yet jolly makeover when it becomes The Nightmare Before Christmas. You can see all of your favorite characters inside, including Jack as Sandy Claws, Sally, and Oogie Boogie. There’s also a giant gingerbread house inside that’s decorated differently every year, and not to mention, it smells delicious.
7A Snowy Main Street
Only at Disneyland will it snow in the spirit of the season in southern California. After the fireworks show, Main Street becomes a wintery wonderland as snow falls all around. If you were dreaming of a white Christmas, this is where your dreams can come true.
